Temple Beth El Sisterhood

The Sisterhood of Temple Beth El is an active, integral part of the Temple community.  With membership at nearly 100 women of the Temple, the Sisterhood is representative of all ages, backgrounds and interests.  The Temple Beth El Sisterhood is a chapter of the national organization, Women of Reform Judaism (WRJ) and is represented in District 10.

Sisterhood provides a myriad of services to the Temple.  Among its many charges are the gift shop, babysitting, bimah flowers, weekly onegs, the Chanukah dinner, producing the Temple membership directory, and supplying the kitchen.  In addition, the Sisterhood holds a yearly raffle to help fund the Ivriah.  It offers camp scholarships, provides enriching programs, leads Shabbat services twice each year, and provides holiday baskets for the homebound.

Get Involved

Volunteers are needed for all events and projects.  Simply becoming a member will help enrich the fabric of Sisterhood.  Dues payments help support the work Sisterhood does.  Dues are payable at a choice of three levels.  They are  $25 Ruth, $36 Esther, and $54 Miriam.

Sisterhood Board Members are always available to answer questions or hear suggestions.
